Grand Massti is an upcoming Indian Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria. The film stars Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi with Kainaat Arora which is scheduled for release on 24 August 2015. The film is a remake of the 2009 Malayalam film "O Kadhal Kanmani". The movie revolves around Amit (Shivdasani), a hot shot advertising executive who works hard all day and lends his time to woo women. Aspiring to be a great man, he devises a unique workout plan for himself, which leads him into the path of "grand masti" which ignites his desire for women. Life gets into a different course when finally after many years, he meets the one girl who could ignite his life in a grand way.The soundtrack of Grand Masti was released on 26 June 2015. Before the release, the film was banned in Pakistan by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The official reason for banning was that the Board couldn't "censor the film because in order to do that, we would have to see it and we cannot because it is illegal. Censoring this movie would be like asking someone to eat food without seeing it." The film released in theatres across Pakistan on 15 July 2015 with an 'A' (adult) certificate.   "Grand Masti" opened up to a disappointing response at the box office and was declared a debacle by Box Office India. The film has earned domestically in two weeks. The film commenced its overseas run on 7 August 2015 and managed to earn $1.51 million in three weeks. The film has managed to earn $1.14 million in the Pakistan, $77,000 in Nepal and $80,000 in Fiji. As of 18 September 2015, "Grand Masti" has grossed approximately worldwide. "Grand Masti" was banned in Pakistan by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to immense protest from religious factions who deemed it obscene and vulgar. The official reason for banning was that the Board couldn't "censor the film because in order to do that, we would have to see it and we cannot because it is illegal. Censoring this movie would be like asking someone to eat food without seeing it." Shortly after the ban, the controversy escalated into a nationwide campaign against the Board. A petition was started on change.org which had garnered over 20,000 signatures by September 2015.  The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics. The performances of Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani were praised with particular praise directed to Riteish's performance as Surya Kumar Dubey who is described as "the perfect villain with an aura of foreteller". cfa1e77820
